INTRACOM DEFENSE Strengthened International Presence at Eurosatory 2026

INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE), a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries, reinforced its international presence and showcased its latest defense technologies during its successful participation at the prestigious international Defense and Security exhibition, Eurosatory 2026, held in Paris.

Throughout the exhibition, IDE welcomed several distinguished visitors to its stand, including Ioannis-Miltiadis Nikolaidis, Ambassador of Greece to France; Ioannis Bouras, General Director of the Hellenic General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA); and Ioannis Korres, Director of the D’ Branch of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS). The company also hosted numerous representatives from the Hellenic Armed Forces and international military delegations, highlighting the growing interest in its advanced defense solutions.

A major highlight of IDE’s participation was the presentation of its newly developed Hybrid Energy & Climate Control System (HECCS). The innovative system was specifically designed to support modern air-defense and missile-defense platforms by providing reliable hybrid power generation combined with efficient climate control capabilities. The unveiling further demonstrated IDE’s commitment to delivering advanced energy solutions for demanding military environments and strengthened the company’s already successful presence in international defense programs involving hybrid electric power technologies.

In addition to energy systems, IDE emphasized its expanding role in the field of tactical communications. The company highlighted the recent selection of its WiSPRevo Communications and Information System (CIS) for integration into the Leopard 2A8 main battle tanks procured by the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence. This achievement represented another important milestone in IDE’s international growth strategy and confirmed the competitiveness of its communications technologies in modern armored vehicle programs.

The company also reported positive results from field trials conducted by the Finnish Ministry of Defence. These evaluations tested IDE’s tactical communication systems under demanding Arctic environmental conditions and aboard high-noise military vehicles. The successful trials demonstrated the robustness, reliability, and operational effectiveness of the company’s solutions in extreme conditions, further enhancing its reputation among international defense customers.

IDE noted that newly signed contracts had doubled, reflecting strong international demand for its products and services. The company attributed this growth to its continued investment in innovation, high product quality, responsive customer support, and active participation in international industrial partnerships. Furthermore, IDE maintained its involvement in numerous European research and development initiatives aimed at advancing next-generation defense technologies.

Headquartered in Koropi, the company employed more than 600 highly skilled scientists and engineers and remained active in areas including missile electronics, tactical IP communications, C4I systems, surveillance technologies, hybrid electric power systems, and unmanned platforms.

IDE’s participation at Eurosatory 2026 demonstrated the company’s growing international influence, technological expertise, and commitment to supporting both allied defense forces and the wider European defense industry through innovative and operationally proven solutions.
