PELI Products has expanded its European production capacity following the installation and commissioning of a new state-of-the-art rotational moulding machine at its manufacturing facility in Crottendorf, Germany. The investment is intended to increase production flexibility, strengthen supply continuity and enable faster responses to growing customer demand across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.

The Crottendorf facility manufactures high-performance protective cases for customers throughout the EMEAI region and plays an increasingly important role in PELI’s European manufacturing operations. The latest addition represents one of the most significant investments made at the site and reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to maintaining and expanding its production capabilities in Europe.

The new rotational moulding machine will operate alongside the facility’s established injection-moulding capacity, expanded assembly operations and enhanced product-customisation capabilities. Together, these resources will allow PELI to manufacture a broader range of protective case solutions while improving operational efficiency, production responsiveness and the resilience of its regional supply chain.

The investment is also expected to help PELI respond more effectively to the specialised requirements of customers operating in demanding commercial, industrial and defence environments. The company’s protective cases are designed to safeguard sensitive and mission-critical equipment during transportation, storage and deployment, including in harsh operational conditions.

Corti added that the expanded production capacity would further strengthen the company’s ability to support customers across the commercial, industrial and defence sectors. He also highlighted PELI’s long-standing relationship as a preferential supplier to NATO, underlining the importance of reliable European manufacturing capacity for customers with demanding operational and supply requirements.

The new equipment forms part of the continuing transformation of the Crottendorf manufacturing facility. PELI has expanded both its rotational moulding and injection-moulding capabilities while increasing the space available for assembly and production activities by 40 per cent. The company has also expanded the facility’s workforce by 80 per cent, demonstrating the scale of its investment in local manufacturing expertise and operational capacity.

In addition to increasing production volumes, the Crottendorf site offers enhanced customisation capabilities, allowing PELI to adapt its protective cases to customers’ specific equipment, transportation and operational requirements. Its manufacturing activities are certified according to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, supporting consistent production standards and responsible industrial practices.
