Agenda 2030- Hellenic Armed Forces Digital Transformation
Athens C4ISR International Conference 25-26 November 2026, Athens, Greece
DBDC International Defence Publications & Events LTD and the GREEK DEFENCE NEWS magazine are pleased to announce the Agenda “2030- Hellenic Armed Forces Digital Transformation” the 7th Athens International Conference, to be held on 25-26 November 2026, Athens, Greece.
The conference is aligned with the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence’s “Agenda 2030”, an ambitious and comprehensive restructuring programme for the Hellenic Armed Forces. This initiative focuses on the acquisition of next-generation fighter aircraft, naval fleet modernisation, the strengthening of integrated air and missile defence capabilities, and the enhanced role of the domestic defence industry—particularly in the fields of air defence, autonomous systems, unmanned platforms, and missile technologies.
Organized as a premier international defence and security event, the conference will be supported by the relevant Greek authorities and will serve as a high-level platform for knowledge exchange and strategic dialogue. It will address the latest technological developments across land, naval, and air platforms, advanced weapon systems, C4ISR, Digital Battlefield solutions, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity.
Modern, interconnected battlespaces require a new generation of integrated technologies. Contemporary warfare systems increasingly rely on advanced combinations of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C4ISR), sensors, Internet of Things (IoT), remote-control capabilities, and autonomous systems. These technologies enable decision-makers to collect, process, analyse, and disseminate accurate information in real time, enhancing situational awareness and significantly accelerating the decision-making cycle.
C4I and cybersecurity solutions are particularly critical for complex, integrated military and security architectures that coordinate land, maritime, air, space, and cyber forces, as well as coast guards, civil defence, and crisis management organisations. These systems empower senior commanders to plan, manage, and execute operations effectively under the most demanding conditions, including armed conflict, natural disasters, and large-scale emergencies. Autonomous land-sea-air platforms equipped with advanced C4ISR capabilities provide decisive operational advantages by improving situational awareness, enhancing understanding of the operational environment and adversary, and significantly reducing the time between detection and response.
The international defence industry today offers a wide spectrum of land, naval, and air platforms equipped with state-of-the-art C4ISR systems. These range from incremental modernization programs to the integration of cutting-edge technologies enabling secure, real-time data exchange across platforms and services. This evolution forms part of a broader, holistic approach to modern warfare under the framework of Joint All-Domain Operations (JADO).
The conference will bring together international manufacturers of advanced weapon systems and platforms, C4I solution providers, systems developers, and defence industry executives, alongside senior representatives from the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence, the Joint, Army, Navy, and Air Force General Staffs, foreign military delegations, and defence attachés. Participants will exchange views on emerging strategies and capabilities in mobility, command and control, communications, cyber defence, unmanned systems, sensors, networks, geospatial intelligence, and the protection of complex, network-centric operational environments against evolving digital threats.
