ALTUS LSA Showcases Advanced UAV Capabilities and Strategic Partnerships at Eurosatory 2026
Greek defence technology company ALTUS LSA recorded a strong presence at Eurosatory 2026, the world’s leading international defence and security exhibition, held in Paris from 15 to 19 June. The company attracted significant attention from military delegations, industry leaders, and defence officials with its latest unmanned systems developments and strategic international partnerships.
Founded in 2011, ALTUS LSA has established itself as one of Greece’s most innovative defence technology companies, providing turnkey solutions and state-of-the-art services in the field of unmanned systems. Over the years, the company has developed a broad portfolio of advanced UAV platforms designed to support military, security, civil protection, and industrial applications.
At the centre of attention during Eurosatory 2026 was the armed ATLAS-8 “Kerveros” unmanned aerial system, a groundbreaking platform jointly developed by ALTUS LSA and European missile manufacturer MBDA. The system combines ALTUS LSA’s battery-powered ATLAS-8 heavy-lift multicopter drone with MBDA’s combat-proven Akeron MP anti-armour missile, creating a highly capable and flexible airborne precision-strike solution.
The Kerveros programme reached an important milestone earlier this month when inert firing tests were successfully conducted at the NATO Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI) range on the Greek island of Crete. The tests demonstrated the successful integration of the missile system with the UAV platform and highlighted the growing maturity of the programme. Crete also hosts ALTUS LSA’s manufacturing and development facilities, which have become an important hub for the company’s research, testing, and production activities.
In addition to showcasing its advanced UAV technologies, ALTUS LSA announced a significant new international partnership during the exhibition. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gremsy, a leading developer of advanced camera stabilization and imaging payload solutions, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing aerial imaging capabilities across Europe.
The partnership combines ALTUS LSA’s expertise in UAV platforms, mission systems, and integration capabilities with Gremsy’s advanced camera payload technologies. Together, the two companies aim to deliver integrated solutions that improve situational awareness, operational effectiveness, and decision-making capabilities across a broad range of applications.
As part of the agreement, ALTUS LSA will integrate Gremsy’s VIO multi-sensor payload and future imaging solutions into selected UAV platforms, providing operators with access to high-performance visual and thermal imaging technologies. These capabilities are expected to support missions ranging from public safety and emergency response to infrastructure inspection, border surveillance, intelligence gathering, and critical asset protection.
The Memorandum of Understanding also establishes a framework for future cooperation in product integration, joint demonstrations, market development initiatives, and customer engagement activities throughout Europe.
ALTUS LSA’s participation at Eurosatory 2026 highlighted both the technological maturity of the Greek defence industry’s unmanned systems sector and the company’s growing international footprint. Through innovative platforms such as the Kerveros and strategic partnerships with leading global technology providers, ALTUS LSA continues to strengthen its position as a key contributor to the evolution of next-generation unmanned and aerial intelligence solutions for European and international markets.
