DBDC International Defence Publications & Events is participating in the World Defense Show (WDS), presenting its latest international publications, including the newly launched EuroAtlantic Defence News, alongside Greek Defence News and African Security magazine. During the show, DBDC also promoted its major international conferences scheduled for 2026: the Athens International Firefighting Conference, held on 16–17 April 2026, and the Agenda “2030 – Hellenic Armed Forces Digital Transformation”, the Athens C4ISR International Conference, held on 25–26 November 2026 in Athens, Greece.
The World Defense Show 2026 (WDS 2026) took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 8–12 February 2026, reaffirming its position as one of the world’s most influential global defence exhibitions. Held under royal patronage, WDS brought together over 770 exhibitors from 76+ countries, more than 106,000 visitors, and 440+ official delegations, creating a unique platform for strategic dialogue, industrial cooperation, and high-value defence engagement.
Showcasing cutting-edge capabilities across land, air, sea, space, and security, WDS 2026 featured live air and land demonstrations, advanced static displays, and dedicated thematic zones focusing on unmanned systems, naval defence, innovation, and Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding defence supply chain. With over USD 26 billion in orders and announcements generated in previous editions, the show played a central role in shaping future defence capabilities while supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 localisation and industrialisation objectives.
