The collaboration unites Diehl\u2019s innovative missile engineering and MDSI\u2019s payload integration systems \u2013 PISAPS – to deliver nextgeneration aEordable and rapid integration solutions for allied defence forces. At the core of this partnership is the integration of the IRIS-T missile through the PISAPS computer system. Aircraft that has so far been unable to utilize the full functionality of IRIS-T can be enabled the capability to do so with MDSI\u2019s Platform Independent Stand-Alone Payload System (PISAPS). Unlocking New Operational Capabilities. This partnership enables rapid deployment of IRIS-T across a broader range of platforms, including legacy aircraft and unmanned systems, by streamlining integration through MDSI\u2019s modular and adaptable architecture. By combining Diehl Defence\u2019s combatproven missile technology with MDSI\u2019s cutting-edge payload integration system, allied forces can accelerate capability upgrades without costly airframe modifications.
