During the exhibition, DBDC’s editorial team will provide comprehensive coverage of the latest developments in the defence and security sector through interviews, news reports, video coverage and executive discussions with industry leaders, government officials, military delegations and technology innovators from around the world. Live interviews and company presentations will also be broadcast through our YouTube channel and digital media platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eurosatory 2026 takes place at a pivotal moment for the global defence and security sector, shaped by geopolitical instability, rapid technological innovation, and unprecedented levels of military investment. As armed forces, governments, and industry adapt to a changing strategic environment, the exhibition will provide valuable insight into the systems, technologies, and operational concepts influencing future procurement priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 edition is the largest in the event’s history. Expanding into Hall 4 and covering more than 185,000 square metres, Eurosatory will welcome over 2,600 exhibitors from more than 68 countries and an expected 50,000 visitors. More than 350 official delegations representing over 100 nations will attend, reaffirming the exhibition’s status as the world’s leading land and air-land defence and security event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A redesigned demonstration area will showcase realistic operational scenarios, including trench warfare, three-dimensional drone operations, and close-quarters combat exercises. These demonstrations reflect the lessons learned from recent conflicts and the increasing importance of integrating new technologies into military operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Charles Beaudouin, Exhibition Director of Eurosatory and CEO of Coges Events, the exhibition will bring together established manufacturers, innovative start-ups and defence experts to address emerging challenges while highlighting trends such as multidomain operations, remote engagement, air mobility, crisis management and industrial resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East have fundamentally reshaped defence planning across Europe and beyond. European governments are responding by significantly increasing military spending and accelerating modernisation programmes. At the same time, cyberattacks, attacks on critical infrastructure and the growing use of drones by both state and non-state actors have expanded the range of security challenges facing governments and civil protection agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These developments are expected to be reflected throughout Eurosatory 2026. Uncrewed systems will be among the dominant themes, with unmanned aerial systems, ground vehicles and maritime platforms occupying a central position. Equally important will be counter-UAS technologies, including advanced radars, electronic warfare solutions and kinetic and non-kinetic effectors designed to defeat emerging drone threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digitalisation of the battlefield will also attract considerable attention. Artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, secure communications, data fusion and multidomain command-and-control networks are increasingly becoming essential components of modern military capability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conventional military platforms nevertheless remain at the heart of defence planning. Main battle tanks, armoured fighting vehicles, helicopters, artillery systems and combat aircraft continue to play a critical role in national defence strategies. European armies are investing heavily in armoured fleet modernisation, drawing lessons from the war in Ukraine and broader concerns regarding regional security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond technology and equipment, Eurosatory will provide an important forum for discussions on defence funding, industrial resilience, multinational cooperation and the balance between collaborative procurement and national sovereignty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
