Elbit Systems announced today, further to its announcement from December 16, 2025, that as part of an agreement between the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense, it was awarded a contract worth approximately $750 million (\u20ac650 million) to supply Precise & Universal Launching System (PULS) artillery rocket systems to the Hellenic Armed Forces. The contract will be performed over a period of 4 years and will include an additional ten-year period of follow-on support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the contract, Elbit Systems will supply PULS launchers and a comprehensive munition package which includes training rockets, operational precision guided rockets for various ranges and loitering munitions. The PULS artillery system provides a comprehensive and cost-effective solution capable of launching unguided rockets, precision-guided munitions, and missiles with various ranges. The launcher is fully adaptable to existing wheeled and tracked platforms, enabling significant reductions in maintenance and training costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In accordance with the policy of the Greek government, Elbit Systems will collaborate with local Greek industries for the production of the system, including technology transfer and sharing of know how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The autonomous artillery rocket system provides a comprehensive and cost-effective solution for precise firing of all types of advanced rockets, with optimal responsiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike standard artillery, with PULS\u2122 there is no need to move artillery units based on the required firing range; the versatile solution can fire a variety of ammunition types to various ranges from the same position, to ranges of up to 300km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The multi-purpose launcher features two PODS; each POD is designed for a specific rocket type: the Accular 122mm (18 rockets) with a range of up to 35km, the Accular 160mm (10 rockets) with a range of up to 40km, the EXTRA (4 rockets) with a range of up to 150km and the Predator Hawk (2 rockets) with a range of up to 300km. The system can accurately and effectively neutralize the specified targets at all ranges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PULS\u2122 is designed to maximize response with optimal firing flexibility, without the need for special modifications to the system. A typical firing mission can be executed in less than one minute from initiation. The PULS\u2122 is fully adaptable to existing platforms, which enables a significant reduction in maintenance and training costs that would be necessary with a new vehicle platform. The launcher was specifically designed to bridge the gaps between all artillery building blocks: means of fire, sensors and C4I.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
