
Cyprus Defence Industry Participation at EUROSATORY 2026
The Republic of Cyprus recorded one of its strongest-ever participations at EUROSATORY 2026, showcasing the rapid development of its defence and security ecosystem. Organized under the national pavilion coordinated by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and supported by the Ministry of Defence of Cyprus, the country’s presence highlighted growing capabilities in unmanned systems, advanced materials, cybersecurity, space technologies, electronic warfare, maritime innovation, satellite communications and defence software.
The Cyprus Pavilion in Hall 5B brought together established defence manufacturers, innovative SMEs, research institutes and technology start-ups, demonstrating the country’s ambition to become an important regional hub for defence innovation and dual-use technologies. The participation also reflected Cyprus’ increasing involvement in European defence programmes, including the European Defence Fund (EDF), PESCO initiatives and collaborative NATO-compatible research projects.
Participating Companies and Organisations
ADDITESS presented its portfolio of defence ICT, cyber security, electronic warfare support and signal intelligence (SIGINT) solutions. Drawing on military operational expertise, the company showcased integrated digital security systems designed for military and homeland security applications.
AmaDema focused on advanced materials engineering and manufacturing technologies. The company highlighted innovative lightweight materials and specialised manufacturing capabilities aimed at aerospace, defence platforms and high-performance industrial applications.
CELLOCK introduced Morpheus, a rapid deployment manufacturing facility designed for UAV systems. The concept enables fast, scalable production of unmanned aerial platforms close to operational theatres, significantly reducing manufacturing lead times while improving supply chain resilience.
CERANEXT showcased advanced ceramic materials developed for defence and security applications. Its technologies focus on protective solutions, high-temperature materials and specialised components intended to improve survivability and operational performance.
CMMI promoted its maritime research programmes covering naval technologies, autonomous maritime systems, marine surveillance, environmental monitoring and blue economy innovation. The institute highlighted international collaborative research supporting naval and coast guard capabilities.
The CCCI coordinated the national Cyprus Pavilion, promoting the country’s defence industrial base, facilitating international business meetings and encouraging partnerships between Cypriot companies and global defence manufacturers.
CYRIC AGS presented specialised defence and security technologies, supporting integrated solutions for military and critical infrastructure applications.

HELLAS SAT highlighted secure satellite communications, military connectivity, resilient communications infrastructure and space-based services supporting defence operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Houtris showcased industrial engineering and manufacturing capabilities supporting defence equipment production and specialised engineering services.
IANUS Technologies presented its portfolio of AI-enabled and dual-use software developed for:
- Defence command systems
- Homeland security
- Smart governance
- Digital decision support
The company emphasised the transformation of European research projects into operational defence software products.
SIGNALGENERIX presented advanced signal processing technologies for defence and security applications, including secure communications, electronic systems and specialised RF solutions.
SWARMLY demonstrated autonomous swarm technologies supporting coordinated unmanned operations. Its solutions focus on collaborative UAV behaviour, AI-enabled mission planning and scalable autonomous systems for defence and security missions.
Cyprus’ participation at EUROSATORY 2026 demonstrated the remarkable evolution of its defence industry from a relatively small national market into an increasingly sophisticated technology ecosystem. Rather than concentrating on traditional weapons manufacturing, Cypriot companies showcased high-value technologies in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, electronic warfare, satellite communications, advanced materials, unmanned systems, autonomous swarming, maritime innovation and software-defined defence capabilities.
A particularly notable characteristic of the Cyprus Pavilion was its strong emphasis on dual-use technologies, allowing companies to address both civilian and military markets while leveraging European research programmes. The presence of research institutes alongside private industry further illustrated the country’s strategy of linking innovation, academia and industrial production.
The coordinated national presence, supported by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Defence, reinforced Cyprus’ ambition to position itself as a regional centre for defence innovation and as a trusted partner within the European defence technological and industrial base. Collectively, the exhibitors highlighted Cyprus’ growing contribution to next-generation defence capabilities, particularly in digital transformation, autonomous systems, space technologies and resilient communications.
