Destinus Welcomes Ukrainian and Dutch Defence Ministers During High-Level Visit to Its Dutch Production Facility
Destinus welcomed Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Mykhailo Fedorov, and the Netherlands’ Minister of Defense, Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius, to one of its production facilities in the Netherlands during the Ukrainian minister’s official working visit to the country.
The visit coincided with the announcement of a new €500 million Dutch defense support package for Ukraine, further reinforcing bilateral cooperation in defense innovation, industrial production, and the expansion of Europe’s defense capabilities.
A symbolic highlight of the visit was the presentation of a Ukrainian flag brought from the front line and signed by Ukrainian defenders, underscoring the resilience and determination of the Ukrainian people as they continue to defend their country.
For Destinus, the visit highlighted the company’s growing role in strengthening Europe’s defense industrial base through the development of scalable production capacity, resilient supply chains, and advanced defense systems that can be manufactured, adapted, and sustained at the pace required by modern military operations.
As Europe continues to respond to evolving security challenges, the company emphasized that supporting Ukraine requires not only political commitment but also sustained industrial capacity capable of rapidly producing, replenishing, and adapting critical defense capabilities.
The visit reaffirmed the importance of close cooperation between governments and industry in strengthening Europe’s collective defense, enhancing technological innovation, and ensuring long-term support for Ukraine.
